- issue with flat db - new burn-in (23.4.3) starting today
- issue with how PRs are reviewed and tested, especially big ones
- testing was done, then review, then refactoring → error was introduced after testing
- suggestion - do most of the review before most of the testing

- 4844 - work is progressing well. Spec still evolving. Up to devnet 6

- devnet 6 has some forks (not just besu!). being investigated

- Pushback about changing the burn-in process
- No recent pushback about removing quarterly cycle
- Would like to trial replacing quarterly cycle with a deprecation notice policy as a first step (suggested policy in the proposal link)
