That makes perfect sense. Thanks for taking the initiative on this!
Perhaps at a TSC level we could discuss what different versions of "standards" might look like. The board might find this useful.
I don't see an individual page to comment, so I'll just do it here. It seems to me that deciding whether or not (or to what degree) Hyperledger should be involved in standards work is at least a much of a question for the governing board as for the TSC. It is a "what are the goals of Hyperledger" question at least as much as a TSC question.
Do we know what the governing board thinks about this?
