Check out an interview with Arun S M in our latest episode of the Hyperledger podcast.  Arun S M is a Staff Software Engineer at Walmart Global Tech and is also the Vice-Chair of the Hyperledger Technical Oversight Committee, a former lead of the Hyperledger India Chapter and a maintainer for several Hyperledger projects.  In the interview Arun discusses his thoughts on building communities around Hyperledger projects, the importance of building community at a local and regional level and explains how Walmart's Open Source Program Office supports his participation in open source communities.

Hyperledger Composer

We've started a new blog series looking at the now retired Hyperledger projects that helped drive innovation and advanced the development of enterprise-grade blockchain technologies.  Our first post is about Hyperledger Composer, a platform for accelerating the development process of business network applications based on blockchain technology. Donated by IBM UK in 2016, Hyperledger Composer aimed to simplify the creation and management of assets, participants, and transactions on a blockchain network.  That Composer project is no longer active, but the legacy of Hyperledger Composer lives on in the large number of projects and labs that are making different aspects of using Hyperledger Fabric easier.  Read the post to learn more about the innovations that came from Hyperledger Composer.

Events

Vipin Bharathan, Chair of the Hyperledger Financial Markets SIG, will giving a talk on "Security Tokenization in a Multi Polar World" at the virtual TokenExpo event on Wednesday, November 1.  He'll be joined by several other speakers who will be covering a range of topics related to asset tokenization and Web3.  Sign up for the event if you're interested in checking it out.
