Discussion

  • Final review of Community Survey (Link after Alissa Worley posts final draft).
    • Please identify only show-stopper feedback.
  • Survey execution planning
    • What do we need to do to operate the survey?
      • Tool (Alissa Worley mentioned her team can provide a suggestion/solution)
      • Advertising
        • Blog post (add tool link to blog post once tool/url is created)
        • Post to mail list(s)
        • Other?
  • HLGF planning
    • Please review and contribute to: Global Forum 2020
    • My thought on the Global Forum is to offer images and stay away from the pitiful statistics we see in media. The attached .pdf captures a couple of draft terms and code we work with with a DCI twist.  (kellycooper.2ds )

Backlog

  • (NEW) How can we provide an anonymous DCI feedback system? (see: https://lists.hyperledger.org/g/dci-wg/message/63)
  • (NEW) Plan feedback loop to address suggestion #2 from Swetha's Grace Hopper notes (see: https://lists.hyperledger.org/g/dci-wg/message/63)
    • i.e. once we form an action item based on survey results we should make sure we highlight the usefulness of the community inputs in arriving at that action.
  • CHAOSS discussion
  • Initiative Brainstorming (Dan Middleton / All)
    • Besides the community questionnaire, what more do we need for baselining the community?
    • How will we generate gender diversity and inclusion recommendations?
    • What other areas are people passionate about and can suggest actions for?
      • Are there technical recommendations? (Make first commits easier? Convert a one time contributor to a two-time contributor? ...?)
      • Outreach to member companies and other companies "staffing" Hyperledger projects?
