On Today's Call:

  • Review:  

    • Review Workflow status (Identity credentials in a healthcare setting)

      • Additional clarification highlighted in orange

      • New Patient Creation

        • Covers both patient with/without a credential wallet

      • Schedule an appointment in office

        • Add options to issue an appointment credential and/or send an appointment message via email/SMS/DIDComm

      • Schedule an appointment remotely with a known patient

        • Assumes the patient already has a patient credential and a prior relationship with the patient

      • Patient Checkin for an appointment

        • If the patient information in the patient ID credentials is updated, after a new patient ID credential is issued, add optional notification by the patient to the previous issuer of the patient credential.

      • Added a workflow to handle patient referrals

      • Add cloud custodial wallet to handle patients who don't have a mobile device for hosting the wallet.

    • Next steps

      • Get clinic personnel to review the workflows for feedback.

      • Handoff to Trevor for writeup

      • How to fit FHIR records in patient health credential (labs, patient history, vaccinations, etc.)

        • Anoncreds works best for patient identity; JSON-LD or SD-JWT might be more suitable for FHIR records.
