Hyperledger Cactus | Hyperledger Cactus - Drop-in Pair Programming - Eastern Hemisphere When: Organizer: Peter Somogyvari peter.somogyvari@accenture.com An RSVP is requested. Click here to RSVP Description: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Questions can be ranging anywhere from starting a contribution/initial setup questions to finalizing complex PR reviews. It’s an informal setting where no issue is too small to be brought up: If you show up, share your screen and we figure out that a semicolon was missing and that’s why it wasn’t working, that’s a great outcome and the meeting will have worked as intended. There’s no pressure or barrier to entry as long as it’s related to Cactus, we’ll be glad to discuss it on the call in a first come first serve ad-hoc basis. |

Any and all are welcome to join and contribute to the lab. The lab maintainers will be the governors. neferti plans a low-code and highly secure implementation to issue and trade NFTs, in a protocol agnostic way. neferti code will address market place utilities for issuance and trading of NFTs. neferti implementation will allow for extensibility and openness. An initial reference Hyperledger Fabric implementation is planned. |

Hyperledger Firefly | New Webinar: Hyperledger FireFly 1.0 is here!Build full-stack Web3 apps faster with FireFly SuperNodes Wednesday, April 13, 2022 7am PST - 10am EST - 2pm GMT - 10pm HKT, SGT It’s no secret that building Web3 apps is hard. There are protocols to master, new constructs like tokens and smart contracts to understand, and then the challenge of integrating it all with existing systems. That’s why our community created Hyperledger FireFly, the first open-source Supernode: a complete stack for enterprises to build and scale secure Web3 applications. Join us as we announce that Hyperledger FireFly version 1.0 is generally available and ready for production use! We’ll be joined by two leads from major industry blockchain consortia, Kyle Culver, Director of Emerging Technologies at Humana and Co-founder of the Synaptic Health Alliance, as well as Patrick Schmid, Vice President of the Institutes RiskStream Collaborative, to discuss how Hyperledger FireFly helps enterprises:
We’ll also share a live demo showing how easy it is to get up and running on FireFly. Before the webinar, we invite you to check out the community, explore the source code, or chat with the team on Discord. See you on April 13! |

VI. Old Business
- LMDWG Task Force Creation for documentation Benjamin
- The Giving Chain LAB creation - Hardik
- University curriculum
The University Curriculum has been moved to Google docs for ease of updating and expanding community participation. New Google Doc format available for interested contributors.
ACT-IAC is working on an update to their blockchain primer and would like to include updated Hyperledger blockchain terms, let us know if you would like to contribute.
VII. New Business
- Global Forum Applications
Each submission will be reviewed by a program committee made up of community members according to the following criteria (in no particular order):
- Experience of the presenters – we would like to hear from industry experts, researchers and all of you who have battle stories to tell
- Relevance to Hyperledger community – does the session talk about a solution that uses Hyperledger technology in some aspect, discusses some research work done with the Hyperledger community, provides guidelines to our community, etc.
- Applicability – will the audience come away with learnings, tips, etc.
- Inter-activeness – given the virtual nature of the conference, we encourage submissions that will engage the audience. This can be done by shortening your talk and increasing the Q&A time, hosting a discussion rather than giving a talk, including polls, demos, tutorials and follow-alongs.
- Timeliness – We are looking for sessions that include the latest research, deployments, and newest features in enterprise blockchain technology and implementation. Please consider creating new content to keep it timely and interesting. We will also accept content that is introductory in nature or that detail an element of the blockchain landscape.
- Diversity – we are committed to diversity and inclusion in all aspects. At Hyperledger “all are welcome here” and we will be making sure that our agenda includes a variety of voices and representation.

- Demo Theater (approximately 15 minutes)
- Panel Discussion (maximum 4 panelists & 1 moderator, approximately 60 minutes + Q&A)
- Presentation (maximum 2 presenters, approximately 30 minutes + Q&A)
- Ask the Expert Session (45 minutes with subject matter experts)
- Workshop (half day or full day)
Important Notes
- All speakers are required to adhere to our Code of Conduct. We also highly recommend that speakers take our Inclusive Speaker Orientation Course.
- Panel submissions must include the names of all participants in the initial submission to be considered. In addition, The Linux Foundation does not accept submissions with all-male panels in an effort to increase speaker diversity.
- Complimentary Passes For Speakers – One complimentary pass for the event will be provided per accepted speaker (and co-speaker, if required). For accepted panel discussions, up to 4 panelists, + 1 moderator will receive a complimentary event pass; additional panelists will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
- Avoid sales or marketing pitches when preparing your proposal; these talks are almost always rejected due to the fact that they take away from the integrity of our events, and are rarely well-received by conference attendees.
- All accepted speakers are required to submit their slides by 3 day prior to the event.
