The following is a list of items that must be completed for a project's first major release

  • Security Audit completed and all issues resolved

  • TSC approval (see Project Lifecycle#first_major_release)
  • License review
    • Legal committee review of exceptions
    • Governing Board approval for any exceptions

  • PR plan completed

  • DCO checked
