  • (1) How could we improve pull request review velocity?

    • proposal: Cactus_dev_planning-2021-04-05.pdf

    • Jonathan: for Hyperledger community, not only external committers

    • Shingo: for developing LPs such number

      • In LedgerPlugin life-cycle, he proposed Separation development of LedgerPlugin and Cactus Node Server

      • Since all participants are not familiar with TypeScript or JavaScript, LedgerPlugin should be developed with different programming language not only TypeScript and JavaScript.

    • Peter: Which package dependency

    • Shingo: Current npm has dependency. Package dependency on such a sub module

    • Peter: Package dependency means that inside structure of package.json?

    • Shingo: LedgerPlugin need much smaller dependency.

    • Jonathan: 3-6 months for review period on "release candidate"?

    • Shingo: There is no strict rule, but according to another project (e.g. Sawtooth), they needs such a time before releasing V1

    • Shingo: Basically we agree with Kanban system, but in the original system we may miss to check some of real problems, then we propose a revised plan of it.

  • (2) Explanation of VerifierFactory behavior (abstraction of Validator IF) (postponed agenda from previous week)

    • Shingo provided a UML sequence diagram

    • Peter: already developed?

    • Shingo: Yes. On Sawtooth Validator.

  • (3) Ad-hoc item: 2021 Q2 Hyperledger Cactus - Draft

  • (*) New rule: If there remain some agenda items, they go to top agenda items on the next meeting.
