    • Last planned 1.4 release before 1.5

    • Acceptance test issues identified and fixed in master

      • Random numbers were blocking on OS level entropy generation

  • Upcoming 1.5 RC 

    • June 17 (AMER)/ 18 (AUS): Besu 1.5 RC

    • July 14 (AMER) /15 (AUS): Besu 1.5 Release

  • Release process change proposal post 1.5

    • Full proposal incoming, but in short:

      • Gate bi-weekly releases on testnet fast syncs (all ETH networks)

        • Still update nightly nodes on mainnet.

      • Gate quarterly releases on mainnet fast syncs

        • These can't be the only fast syncs done during the release.
