Working Group Health
The SIG is very new. The inaugural meeting was held on 8th January and there has been one subsequent meeting since then. The meetings are well attended with 18+ attendees on each call. The group is still in its early stages, although it is starting to coalesce around a number of common areas of interest. The rate of volunteering to participate seems good.
Issues
There are no issues at this time
Overall Activity in the Past Quarter
At only two meetings old, the activity has been limited however, we have achieved the following;
- Set up the wiki
- Created a membership directory with a directory owner
- Had a first proper presentation of content
- Started to build a pipeline of discussion and agenda items
Planned Work Products
- A glossary of terms and acronyms for trade finance
- A library of workflows
- Guest presentations on ERP integration
- Presentations on inter-operability between different trade finance platforms
Participant Diversity
Rather early to say! Meeting two had more participants than meeting one, and generated more actions. Level of volunteering seems good. Representation from Americas, Europe and Asia seems well balanced.
Additional Information
I expect the next quarter to be key for this SIG. If we can get the work packages well defined and the level of collaboration high then this could turn into a very productive group. The focus is centering on standards, interoperability and terminology which seem good areas for participants to collaborate with compromising their own IP.
