Last week the community got together in person for the LFDT Maintainer Days and Member Summit. There is a nice summary of the events along with some photos and a video of a discussion with Brian Steele at DTCC and Joe Lubin at Consensys sharing their thoughts about the road ahead for the community.

The Besu maintainers have written a blog post summarizing progress they made on the project in 2025 and laying out their goals for 2026. If you’re interested in where Besu is going, check this out.
