Besu recently released version 25.7.0 and it includes a number of additions, improvements and performance fixes. There are also a number of breaking changes and features that have been deprecated that you may want to familiarize yourself with. Check out the 25.7.0 release notes for more details.

Noteworthy Pull Requests

LF Decentralized Trust Labs provides a space where work can easily be started on new and experimental efforts. A number of new Labs have been created recently and you can find out about these new efforts and existing efforts on the LFDT Labs site. If you’d like to start your own Lab you can also find steps there to take to submit a proposal for a new Lab.

There aren’t many community meetups scheduled over the summer, so you can take some time to catch up on meetups from earlier in the year you might have missed. Our YouTube meetup playlist features recordings of sessions from recent months, including events about new projects like Hiero and Smoot, the launch of the European Regional Chapter, tips for Hyperledger Fabric and Besu certification prep, and deep dives into topics like CBDCs, ZK, and digital identity.
