TFSIG Overall Health
The TFSIG meetings are held on a bi-weekly basis, usually on an APAC region friendly time slot (8:30am BST). It happens quite often that meetings are moved in an afternoon time slot to cover the Americas and in this case meetings are livestreamed on Hyperledger YouTube Channel.
All over the year the attendance has grown consistantly, up to over 80 attendants by leveraging on the ad generated by the TFSIG Linkedin website. Meeting topics touched so far have been of great interest and guest speakers have managed to drive attendance. The creation of the first LinkedIn site for a SIG turned tobe a winning choice as so far it has managed to gather an audiaence of more than 1,200 practitioners from both BC and TF space.
Issues
In spite of the good attendance, we have to solve the issue of finalizing some projects in the future.
it is still to be decided what to do with the position of Vice-Chair or Co-Chair, which at the moment is hindering new collaborators to step is and assist in finalizing activiities.
Overall Activity in the Past Quarter
As stated above the TFSSIG is very well attended and has managed to capture the interest of int'l insitutions which take active parts in the activities, a fundamental factor for success of future projects.
