1.Do you have any questions about the Giving Chain project and what the project GOAL is?

Ans: My questions were answered in the interview

2.Do you have a preference to part time (20 hours a week from June to November). Or Full time  (40 hours from June to August)

Ans: Part time(20 hours a week from June to November

3.Describe what you feel the project must overcome

Ans: A real problem associated with traditional charities are that there is always the doubt in the minds of the person donating as to where or what his/her donation might end up being used for, that results in many people who would have been willing to donate to pass on the opportunity. I feel that this is something the project can easily overcome, with blockchain technology, the giving chain can provide mechanisms and transparency so as to overcome these barriers by allowing the person donating to see exactly where and how his/her donation is being put to use. This further enhances the feeling of satisfaction for the person donating as they get to witness first hand the impact of their donation, this will lead to them coming back to donate again and maybe even convincing their peers to do the same.

The project must also overcome the other problems associated with charities such as identifying the right cause, I'm not saying that some causes are not right, but, the giving chain must select the right environment to deploy the project into by assessing the conditions such as reach of the charity(the area/population to be served) and pool of possible donors to find the suitable environment to deploy, which will allow the project to properly implement its goals, which will then give people more confidence in the project, allowing it to grow even further and better.

4.What does success look like for this project.

Ans: Success would be a situation where the project is able to positively impact the lives of the selected community and do so while also making sure the donors feel good about their contribution. This would be possible only if the app functions seemlessly without any glitches or faults that would deter away possible donors. The success of the project lies in whether it is able to have significant impact on the selected community such that people see the need to deploy it elsewhere and other charity organizations look to it for ideas on how to improve their own operations.
