Learn more about the legacy of Hyperledger Avalon, a project to build a ledger independent implementation of the Trusted Compute Specifications published by the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance. The project started in 2019 and was later archived as development work moved to the Confidential Computing Consortium (CCC). And in the LFDT community newer efforts have been doing work in this space, including Lockness, a new project focused on key management and digital signature protocols, and new efforts around privacy, such as the Zeto lab.

For anyone interested in learning more about zero-knowledge proofs, a new monthly ZK study group is getting started that will meet online on the third Thursday of each month.  The recording of the first event in the series about zero knowledge design patterns in Hyperledger Fabric is available and you can sign up for the next event and hunting for the SNARK on Feb 20 at 9 AM PacificThe LF Decentralized Trust meetup group in Lisbon is organizing their first in person event of the year on Thursday, January 30 and you're invited. Speakers will include Daniela Barbosa, Executive Director of LF Decentralized Trust, and Alexander Shcherbakov and Paulo Caldas from DSR Corporation. This will be a great opportunity to meet with other members of the community and to learn more about what is happening with several of the different projects, including Indy, Besu, Hiero and more.
