- Locate the channel category called Cactus Cacti
- Within that category, locate the voice channel called general as cacti-pair-programming as seen on the screenshot below:
. - If your microphone doesn't work or for whatever reason you cannot do a voice call, just post your question on the chat instead and make sure to tag the group called @Cacti Maintainer in your message so that the maintainers (who are most likely to know the answer to your question) get a notification about the message!
- Tips for more efficient question asking (which is an art in itself)
- If you have a bug you need help with then make sure to push your latest code to your fork so that it can be reproduced on somebody else's machine as well, not just yours.
- Have a clear set of steps to reproduce the issue that you are seeking help with. Often the process of writing down these steps will help you arrive at the solution yourself before you have the chance the ask the question in the pair programming call.
