- Given the availability of both the OpenSSF scorecard and the CloMonitor, which between them cover all the project health criteria we could think of and more, there is no need to codify a set of badges for LFDT projects.
- Various criteria (see below) will be categorized and either fulfilment or score thresholds recommended for each as a health indicator.
- Project maintainers will be required to report these criteria (and wherever applicable, associated scores) in their annual reports. The TAC will evaluate the health of the projects and, at its discretion, determine whether or not a project ought to be moved from one stage to another (either a promotion or a demotion). A graph of the project's lifecycle annotated with criteria will be provided strictly as a guideline for the TAC.
The candidate list of badges proposed in Candidate List of Badges and Associated Project Lifecycle Stages are now somewhat obsolete, given the specific health indicators that can be tracked in a quantitative manner using OpenSSF scorecards as shown by David Enyeart in the following meeting (see Meeting Minutes.)
