The Kerala state government has initiated several blockchain projects to enhance transparency, efficiency, and security across various sectors. Notably, the Kerala Blockchain Academy (KBA), launched in 2017, promotes education, research, and industry collaboration using Hyperledger Fabric and Ethereum. In 2018, a blockchain-based supply chain management system was piloted to improve transparency and traceability in agriculture, utilizing Hyperledger Fabric.
