We had 4 attendees spanning from South America, Europe, India to Australia.
### Work recently done and work in progress
- ✅ multi-wallet, multi-pool capabilities unlocked on aries-vcx level
- ✅ linking - decreased size of android wrapper by 10x
- ✅ addition to AATH of testing pair aries-vcx — aries-framework-javascript
- ✅ rust agent implementation based on top of aries-vcx api
- [in progress] replacement of FFI between vcx -> vdrtools by native Rust calls
### Goals
⤴️ - migration from vdr-tools fork to modular libs indy-shared-rs, indy-vdr , aries-askar
⤴️ - removing coupling of connections with mediator implementation vcxagency-node
⤴️ - further interop improvements, implementation of additional protocols / latest versions
### Future meetings
We agreed to shift meetings to 09:00AM UTC. The next meeting will be on November 3rd 09:00AM UTC.
### Discussion
- What's the approach for removing of vdr-tools in favor of indy-shared-rs, indy-vdr, aries-askar
- The plan is to remove FFI between vcx --- vdrtools first step to make the transition easier
- Create wallet / credential / ledger interface in aries-vcx shielding away implementation details, eg. what what particular library is being used under the hood
- It turns out @gmulhearn has already started working on this so we agreed to coordinate technicalities together
- Where can be found documentation for running aries-vcx / libvcx tests, how to get started
- wrappers https://github.com/hyperledger/aries-vcx#get-started
- aries-vcx https://github.com/hyperledger/aries-vcx/tree/main/libvcx#testing
- A recommendation for using mobile wrapper is to look at NodeJS integration tests / demo, as both NodeJS and Mobile wrappers call the same C API
