Hyperledger Transact was moved to dormant status at the request of the maintainers on 4 MAY 2023 and moved to Archived status by the TOC on January 11, 2024. You are welcome to use and contribute to this code, although the maintainers may or may not be responsive to any questions you have. You would also be welcome to help reactivate this project if you are interested in continuing development of this code.

Description	Transact is a transaction execution platform designed to be used as a library or component when implementing distributed ledgers, including blockchains.

Hyperledger Transact makes writing distributed ledger software easier by providing a shared software library that handles the execution of smart contracts, including all aspects of scheduling, transaction dispatch, and state management.
